Candidates for Congress Talk Green at Environmental Forum June 30

Candidates vying for the only vacant seat in the United States Congress
will discuss environmental issues, health care reform, the economy and
green jobs at the Monterey Park Library, Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at 6:30
p.m.
Judy Chu (D), Betty Tom Chu (R), and Christopher Agrella (I) are
competing for the 32
nd Congressional District seat at a
special election on July 14.
Charlene Brown, Editor, Lookin’ Green Magazine and Allen Shay,
President, Shay & Associates will moderate the forum. A list of topics
exploring the course of action each candidate might take to save our
planet from decades of environmental neglect is available for review

Co-hosts of the June 30 green forum include Lookin’ Green Magazine, Shay
& Associates, eWaste4U, West Valley Journal, Tosoti.com, Green Top 40,
Sun Proof, iLight The World, DreamMission, SGV Journal.com, and the
Monterey Park Chamber of Commerce.
The forum will be held Tuesday, June 30, 2009 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00
p.m. at the Monterey Park Bruggemeyer Memorial Library, 318 S. Ramona
Ave., Monterey Park, CA 91754. A second debate will be held Wednesday,
July 8, 2009 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
