BPZ Resources to transfer listing to NYSE

HOUSTON -BPZ Resources Inc., an oil and gas exploration and production company, on Tuesday said it is planning to transfer its stock listing to the New York Stock Exchange from the New York Stock Exchange Amex on Oct. 26.
The company's CEO Manolo Zuniga said the move "provides our investors with increased liquidity and visibility under the NYSE umbrella."
Shares of the company fell 11 cents to $7.45 in afternoon trading.
