Advance Auto Parts Elects Frances Frei to Its Board of Directors

Advance Auto Parts, Inc., (NYSE:AAP), a leading automotive aftermarket retailer of parts, batteries, accessories, and maintenance items, today announced that Frances Frei, UPS Foundation Professor of Service Management in Harvard Business School’s Technology and Operations Management Department, has been elected to its Board of Directors. Ms. Frei has also been appointed to serve on the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee for the Board of Directors.

Ms. Frei is also the Co-Founder of Concire Leadership Institute, LLC, a provider of customized learning and advisory services to help individuals and organizations achieve exceptional performance. Ms. Frei has served in her current role at the Harvard Business School since July 2009. Previously Ms. Frei served at the Harvard Business School as Associate Professor from July 2003 to July 2009 and as Assistant Professor from July 1998 to July 2003.
