CHICAGO, Oct. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Chicago's history of notorious thugs and gangsters is explored through mystery and comedy in Chris Carter's latest play, "The Lost Stories 2." Carter uses laugh-out-loud dialogue to entertain his readers and to provide some insight into the criminal mind.

Detective John Slay attempts to unravel a curious case involving mobster Slick Rick, and comedy writer Smiley G. Smiley G foils a bank robbery plot organized by Slick Rick, and Detective John Slay is assigned to protect Smiley G from retaliation, anticipated by the affronted mob boss.

What makes "The Lost Stories 2" even more unique is that it sheds some light onto present-day issues, such as war, dependence on Social Security, marriage, interracial couples and children growing up in single-parent homes.
